Capital E Trip

Yesterday We went to Capital E's Art Festival on 22 march 2017 with most of Rangikura School. We had to visit 3 shows at wellington but first we had to get transported by a double decker bus. The bus was really loud because people started singing and laughing really hard.

Our first show was at Te Papa. It was about a boy that was trying to get famous by trying to make a hit song but he always used his ipad but ended up terrible. The boy met people in his dreams about how to sing and make music with music he did it later on in the show also his dad took his ipad but then gave him a sorry and a delicious breakfast. Most people enjoyed the show and there were some adults at the back of us.

And then we had morning tea and that's when a lady with a swimsuit started doing things that made students laugh... but the lady sneaked up on other teachers and done some stuff.

The second show was outside and about sailors that scrubbed the deck and done some acrobatics (well mostly the lady) and they rubbed mops on students head's from other school's and Rangikura got nothing. Patrick did put his hand in the bucket.

The third show was the best one because it was a man making puppets out of socks and clothing which was funny and also he spoke really weird and said enjoy you're life and others which was funny and kind. That was one of the highlights of this Capital E Trip.

If I Ran The School

If I Ran The School

I would have a big, nice looking classroom for all the teachers.They would include whiteboards, air conditioners and more.

One of my ideas is that we should not have uniforms because I think we should wear anything like family treasures, winter coats of any material, long sleeves, short sleeves, shorts… etc. They would feel welcomed and they would not need to wear the same thing and it would not feel uncomfortable.

Another Idea is that my school is a B.Y.O.D school because kids would be able to message/call their parents and also they would watch youtube if they were lonely. They can also play games on their breaks.

Two more Ideas are a cafeteria and Chrome books. A cafeteria that is packed with food that makes students full like: pies, sandwiches and more. That's why we need a cafeteria.

Chromebooks would be a way to do learning online such as Studyladder, Mathletics, Khan Academy and more. These sites provide you extra maths that you may need like times,(x) divide(÷) plus(+) and take away (-). These skills will help you in the future.

If I was the principle of this school thats how I would run it. Educational and fun. I think thats how we should run schools. My ideas were my choices.
